A juried exhibition featuring faculty and students from the Beijing Film Academy, China and the University of Minnesota, USA.
Exhibition will be held May 2008 to July 2008
Submission deadline postmarked March 31, 2008

This is an open call for artwork that fit these criteria:
1.  Artists must be faculty or students at Beijing Film Academy or the U of M
2.  Present the theme of self and the 21st century
3.  All art must have been created in 2007 or 2008
4.  Media type must be photography or digital video
5.  Three (3) photographic submissions maximum allowed per each artist
Size: jpg. 360dpi, no larger than 40x30"
a. Artists must mail CD (no original works) to:

6.  Maximum of three (3) digital video submissions allowed for each artist:
(3-5 minutes in length)
a.  Artists from the Beijing Film Academy must mail DVD (no menus) to:

b. Artists from the U of M must sumbit their digital video work to:
Media Mill at http://mediamill.cla.umn.edu/mediamill/
Media Mill submissions must be shared with Cherly Wilgren Clyne.
A derivative link to each digital video from Media Mill must be sent with the submission information.
7. Each entry must include:
a. Completed submission form (name, contact information, date created, title, size, or length of artwork)
b. "Self in the 21st century" statement
c. Artist/bio statement
d. Artist resume
e. All art work must be available for sale. 50% of the sale will go to the Chambers Burnet Art Gallery
f. Submission deadline must be postmarked March 31, 2008
